Venue

Krems an der Donau, located approximately one hour from Vienna International Airport, is a historic town at the gateway to the Wachau region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its long-standing cultural heritage, vibrant academic environment, and close connection to the surrounding natural landscapes, Krems offers an inspiring setting for exchange and reflection.

Embedded in a region known for its vineyards, forests, and scenic beauty along the Danube, Krems provides opportunities to experience nature as a space for recreation, well-being, and learning. The nearby therapeutic forest at Stift Göttweig—Austria’s first officially certified Heilwald—highlights the region’s growing commitment to nature-based health approaches.

Combining tradition with innovation, Krems brings together historical charm, contemporary research, and a strong focus on sustainability, making it an ideal location for an international congress dedicated to forest therapy, health, and well-being.
